فرازی از دعای ابوحمزه ثمالی به انگلیسی
اَللّهُمَّ اشْغَلْنا بِذِكْرِک، واَعِذْنا مِنْ سَخَطِكَ
وَ اَجِرْنا مِنْ عَذابِكَ، وَ ارْزُقْنا مِنْ مَواهبِكَ
وَاَنْعِمْ عَلَيْنا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ، وَارْزُقْنا حَجَّ بيَْتِكَ
وَ زِيارَةَ قَبِْر نَبِيِّكَ صَلَواتُكَ وَرَحٍَْمتُكَ وَمَغْفِرَتُكَ وَرِضْوانُكَ
عَلَيْه وَ عَلى اَهلِ بيَْتِه
اِنَّكَ قَريبٌ مُجيبٌ، وَارْزُقْنا عَمَلاً بِطاعَتِكَ
وَ تَوَفَّنا عَلى مِلَّتِكَ وَسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْه وَ آلِه
اَللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْلی وَ لِوالِدَيَّ
وَ ارْحٍَْهُما كَما رَبّياني صَغیرا
اِجْزِهما بِالا حسان اِحْساناً وَِ السَّيِّئاتِ غُفْرانا
اَللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤْمِنینٌَ وَ الْمُؤْمِناتِ
الا حياءِ مِنْهُمْ وَ الا مْواِت ، وَ تابِعْ بيَْنَنا وَ بيَْنَهُمْ بِالَْْخیرات
اَللّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَِْحيِّنا وَ مَيِّتِنا، وَ شاهدِنا وَ غائِبِنا
ذكَرِنا وَ اُنْثانا، صَغیرنا وَ كَبیرنا، حُرِّنا وَ مَْلُوكِنا
كَذَبَ الْعادِلُون بِاللهِ وَ ضَلُّوا ضَلالاً بَعيدا وَخسِرُوا خسْراناً مُبينا
وَ اَجِرْنا مِنْ عَذابِكَ، وَ ارْزُقْنا مِنْ مَواهبِكَ
وَاَنْعِمْ عَلَيْنا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ، وَارْزُقْنا حَجَّ بيَْتِكَ

O' Lord! Occupy our time with Your remembrance. protect us from Your wrath, save us from Your punishment, grant us from Your favors
give us from Your grace, provides us the means to conduct pilgrimage to Your house (Ka'ba), and to visit the tomb of Your Prophet
may Your blessings, mercy, forgiveness
and graciousness be bestowed upon him and his family
Indeed, You are close, You answer [our prayers]
And assist us in abiding by Your obedience
and give us death while we are in Your (righteous) congregation and followers of the tradition of Your Prophet, may peace of Allah be upon him and his family. O' Lord! Forgive me and my parents and grant them mercy as they have raised me when I was young reward their good deeds with goodness and (pardon) their sins with forgiveness
O' Lord! Forgive the believing men and women,
those who are alive and those who are deceased
and let us follow on their path with good deeds.
O' Lord! Forgive the living among us and the deceased the present ones and the absent, the male and female the young and old, the free ones and the slaves.Indeed the antagonists of Allah lied, wandered astray completely, and incurred a major loss
